Disaster has struck the Romulan Star Empire. The star known has Hobus has gone hypernova, destroying the core worlds of the Empire, Romulus and Remus. Millions have been wiped out by the catastrophe throwing Romulan society into disarray. This event has brought about incredible change within the Empire, bringing Romulans and Remans closer than ever before.
Task Force 93 has been assigned to aid in the defense of Federation/Romulan territory, now separated by the Neutral Zone that was reduced to merely 1 light year in diameter in 2386, on the chance that other powers decide to take advantage of the current situation and are to help in the re-establishment of the Romulan Senate.

The USS Enigma took quite a beating during a rough battle with a rogue Romulan task group at the conclusion of her last mission. She suffered a number of casualties, her Executive and Chief Engineering Officers both included. Upon returning to Deep Space 6 to pick up the pieces before deploying out again, Lieutenant Russo (played by Stephen) has stepped into the role of Executive Officer. Meanwhile, former Deep Space 6 Repair & Refit team leader, Lieutenant Slade Matthews Jr. (played by Sevlek), has been transferred onto the Enigma has her new Chief Engineering Officer. Matthews is joined by Lieutenant JG Angus Maynard (played by Ian B) as a new Assistant Chief Engineering Officer.

The USS Enigma welcomes aboard Staff Sergeant Karl Himmerman, played by EthanD. Himmerman is a veteran Marine NCO who joins our Intelligence Special Operations Tactical Unit as its sniper.

We currently have an opening for a Communications and Linguistics Expert, or a Hacker to use layman's terms. Other positions are available by request at the team's discretion.
